During the summer months, a significant portion of the North African diaspora embarks on an annual journey across the Mediterranean Sea for a return to their homeland. This journey transcends physical borders and becomes a rite of self-discovery and reconnection with roots, land, and people. As a father who has lived in Europe for 20 years, this journey has personally impacted me. I felt like I was relaying my own story through those of other passengers.
